I am very familiar with sales and marketing of new construction, pre-owned homes, condos and land. I have been licensed real estate agent in Washington for 16 years and a broker for 8 years. |

| Background |
| During the mid 1970s and 1980s after studying Interior Design in Dallas, Texas I became a pioneer and launched my career in real estate by becoming the first builder in over 40 years to build new homes in Historic Old East Dallas. The timing was perfect – people were tired of the long commute to the suburbs and the high cost of fuel [Ha!] and my new homes built on in-fill lots sold very quickly.
For three years beginning in 2000 I managed two luxury mixed-use waterfront commercial buildings on Bainbridge, compiling the annual budget, tracking expenses and managing leases and tenant improvements during a difficult time in commercial leasing. I also managed the owners association. |
| Having Been in the Trenches |
| During the early 1980s when the prime interest rate went to 22% I owed approximately $2 million in construction loans at prime +1. It was a hard time to navigate through – however I made it and the experience has given me a great deal of compassion and appreciation for those who choose to build today. I frequently silently giggle when people talk about the high interest rates we are seeing today. |
